CAN  expresses its utmost appreciation to everyone who has made it possible to continue providing quality information on CBR in Africa with a view to improving CBR practice and ultimately the lives of people with disabilities.

CAN's core funding comes predominantly from the CP Charitable Trust, UK, with a history of additional funding obtained from Berkely Trust, World Health Organisation (WHO), Christian Blind Mission International (CBMI),  International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Norwegian Association

 

CBR AFRICA CONFERENCES

CAN organises CBR conferences in Africa to facilitate the development of strong local and international partnership between stakeholders as a platform for information networking. These conferences bring people together from various nations to share experiences and, in the process, create a basis for further talks, meetings and productive interaction for mutual benefit.

Below is a brief description of the conferences CAN has organised starting form the latest in NIgeria to the first in Uganda.
